With anti-alias you can soften the jagged edges of the fonts to make them looking smoother (i can't explain it better i'm italian sorry ;))

it has two modes. demo mode and play mode.. so it can do either i guess. and as far as a distraction.. if you mean do i play it when i should be doing something else.. yup :) or does it bug me when its going by itself.. naah i barely notice it.

uploading works, but uploads always require approval and I don't think any of us are as actively moderating as we did in the past ;-)
