crowmag 2005-01-06 11:30 Sorry if that last post seemed like sour apples - it's not. It's just that when your doing anything creative: music , art, making a style... you can't be forced into a rigid form factor, but instead, be able to experiment and improvize within the medium (the jazz/blues paradigm). If you're stifled, then the product will suffer. Even if you don't see (or hear) the difference, your audience will. Sure, dictation can work at some level... it's called A JOB.
cthu1hu 2005-01-06 09:37 I know all about control freaks
cthu1hu 2005-01-06 09:36 I've been in 6 bands, including a death metal band in South Florida, heheh.
crowmag 2005-01-05 19:46 Haven't been in a band for about 4 yrs myself - most have been with an old bud of mine who plays guit/keys currently with this group link Jim wanted me to join 'em (I do vocals, latin perc and a bit of keys too) but the bass player ended up being a control freak and I walk out after a week. Thinks he knows how to record too HA!
cthu1hu 2005-01-05 17:41 Cool, clovemagic. I'm guessing you like good music, good food.
