doctorfrog 2004-12-05 23:40 let's try that again: [link]magic mail monitor[/]
doctorfrog 2004-12-05 23:40 If you don't mind using a tray icon instead, the very nice and lite [link]magic mail monitor does a great job. I prefer it over liam and bbmail.
crowmag 2004-12-05 23:06 thing is, most plugin devs are using dev tools that don't even run on Win98 and it is hard to develop for a plaform you don't use... you could always "punt" and use EZ-Pop and make a skin using the graphics from bbMail and fake the look, I did. I should be able to update my website after the new year and add the EZ-Pop skin and sum other stuff but I have been so busy the last 2 mo I haven't even been on line. I now have 4 puters KVM'd... XP, 2k, 98SE and a Freesco gateway/router... as soon as I get my sound studio complete I'll update my site - link,rr,com/cave432
win98 2004-12-05 20:50 bummer
lain11 2004-12-05 20:10 bbmail only works with NT and bbweather wont work with win98se
rss 2004-12-05 19:59 also, bbweather does rss feeds if i'm not mistaken
mail 2004-12-05 19:58 i'm pretty sure liam can be slitted. there's also bbmail that works with bblean on win98. it's slittable
lain11 2004-12-05 19:16 if liam cant be slittable/docked in BBinterface and cant be resiable at the least than its not worth it especially when the info gets cut off and lets not forget about how it keeps making a rc file in the bb folder even when I have a rc in the same folder as the dll! i spent plenty of time with it
thewayofzen 2004-12-05 19:09 its surprising how much a little patience.. a few questions when needed.. and the ability to take the time to REALLY try to figure something out can get a person.. then again. what do i know.
lain11 2004-12-05 18:59 that liam thing isnt very good. i cant change the size or look of it not slittable. it is always on top of things and cant be changed and its config is always saved to the BB directory and never wants to read from its own plugin directory. Its awful!
