Tried 0.90? It?s nice and fast, yet lacks some of the features that make BBLean unique, like the menus? option NOT to stay on top when pinned, which is very convenient when working with open windows; also, there is no plugins load/unload feature, mouse wheel doesn?t work on menus etc. Plus, doesn?t work with bbstylemaker the way BBLean does ? which is to be expected, of course? |
Many of the things you speak of are the "options" that NC-17 refers to in his post on link This are not things that are part of Blackbox for Unix and are added instead by developers who want something differant, which is fine, but should not be expected in a "core" release. |
Agreed, Tres'ni. Wasn't expecting anything - I just compared two Blackbox branches according to MY taste and preferences, as a user... |
yeah, if you like bblean, stick with it. i'm not out to appeal to every user. Those options are what make bblean unique. there is no point for me to implement them in bb4win as well, therefore. besides, i dont need mousewheel in menus - i just use the autoscroll feature by putting the cursor on the edge of the menu. =] and tbh, ive tried whitebox and bbstylemaker for creating styles, but i find im most productive and comfortable using trusty old ultraedit, personally. |
well i prefer regular blackbox , is simple, faster and minimal, i dont use bbstylemaker so,, , but i do like bbleanbar and bbleanskin =) |
well... I been using for awhile... is good. but I rather the old ones ;) |
