The situation appears to be resolved. I've spoken with the artist and he is ok with the use of the images, but would prefer to be notified before his work is used in the future. I think that's fair enough.

you dont need to remove the style, just remove the background image.

Admins, i need a favour. The artist who provided the backgrounds for my styles Encircled and Jack's Back has contacted me to request that the styles be removed. As he is the author of those pieces i feel it best to honour his request. So if you could pull the styles i'd be grateful.

uploading works, but uploads always require approval and I don't think any of us are as actively moderating as we did in the past ;-)
