Here are the major happenings since our last post: BBLean 1.00 has been released by grischka. This branch will be replacing BB008LC. It is fully compatible with the 0.0.9 BB4Win API. If you are looking for a build that'll be rock solid on 9x/ME then this is what you want! The latest news from SowWn looks promising. It seems that nivenh working on the bluebox core. He's been busy replacing the LTK with ALTx.. Not sure what that means really, but go bluebox team! :) (Oh and there is a new version of BWM that has fixed a few issues. Still not a "stable" product, it's good for foolin around with!) SowWn also has a temporary bug tracking database at http://www.codedump.org/bugs/ and asks for BWM be reported there! psyci at the forums is looking for beta testers for a new plugin being developed. A little clip from the post: "I've been working on a new plugin for BlackBox titled "BBSlider." It is a small, slidable volume control that can control any volume setting on your soundcard. I should be finishing up the first version of it within a week, and so if you'd like the opportunity to beta test it, I would appreciate feedback and bug reports on it." I'm suprised to see that no one has posted any feedback to his thread hint, hint but I am betting atleast a couple people have asked to test it.. Okay, I forgot to install ImageMagik when I moved over to Debian so that was what was causing the problems here. That's fixed now.. My apologizes, and thanx for using box.crackmonkey.us :-P

grischka has updated his BBNote plugin. Which is a lean text editor plugin that is stylized with the BB styles. The most recent changes include syntax colors for BB-stylefiles, C-like languages and html files. And also 4 key - save all and reconfigure the box to apply the changed style or rc-file. With bbLean, plugins are automatically updated too. So head on over to http://grischka.port5.com/bbnote/ and use and abuse it. :)

Well, it's been a fun ride for the past year or so that I've been running thing here at box.cm.us, but my time has come. Effective yesterday, I've handed over the administration of this site to Jesterace. He'll be running the day to day show, and I'll help out with the site's PHP code. More information on all this will be available shortly on BB4Win. Thanx for the support and for having the faith in me and my site! I'm going to miss ya'll :-P And now here's Jesterace: Hello Everyone, I am Jesterace and I'll be your new admin here at box.cm.us. My plans are to keep the site up to date and as well as approve your screenies in a timely and mannerly fashion. The rules will be kept as they are currently. That means clean screenshots with no pornographic imagery via be it a wallpaper, or an image in a image viewer, Browsers, etc. Basically stuff we can show to our grandmothers and the like.
