While it doesn't stop the behavior per se, it should alleviate the symptoms ;) The plugin watches for newly credit explorer windows and if there are 2 for the same folder it closes on and focuses the other. Currently tested on XP only! Sorry Carsomyr! So to make up for it, I'm posting now :D A simple plugin, DeskSkip skips empty workspaces on Next/Prev workspace messages. This ability can be overridden by holding down the ALT key as he shows in his post and download here. No word if this works on xoblite.
