grischka has updated his BBNote plugin. Which is a lean text editor plugin that is stylized with the BB styles. The most recent changes include syntax colors for BB-stylefiles, C-like languages and html files. And also 4 key - save all and reconfigure the box to apply the changed style or rc-file. With bbLean, plugins are automatically updated too. So head on over to http://grischka.port5.com/bbnote/ and use and abuse it. :)

Well, it's been a fun ride for the past year or so that I've been running thing here at box.cm.us, but my time has come. Effective yesterday, I've handed over the administration of this site to Jesterace. He'll be running the day to day show, and I'll help out with the site's PHP code. More information on all this will be available shortly on BB4Win. Thanx for the support and for having the faith in me and my site! I'm going to miss ya'll :-P And now here's Jesterace: Hello Everyone, I am Jesterace and I'll be your new admin here at box.cm.us. My plans are to keep the site up to date and as well as approve your screenies in a timely and mannerly fashion. The rules will be kept as they are currently. That means clean screenshots with no pornographic imagery via be it a wallpaper, or an image in a image viewer, Browsers, etc. Basically stuff we can show to our grandmothers and the like.

qwilk just released BBBin 1.2 boasting an impressive number of changes including Slit compatability, full style parsing, xoblite bro@m list support, multimonitor support (not tested), and some minor bug fixes and enhancements. There's also a new release of BBHook 1.2 which should solve problems with the previous versions and window rollup functionality. Take it from me, never test this on a Microsoft Office application :-P And lastly (but not leastly), Fatman has been hard at work on a recoding of nWeather dubbed, you guessed it, BBWeather. Version 1.4 is aviable for download and general usage. This replacement of nWeather is highly (and I mean highly) configurable and you should enjoy it a lot. As Fatman says, who needs to get up and look out side when you have nWeather? [ed. These plugins require a BB4Win nightly or xoblite, their use with BBLC is untested to my knowledge. ]

We have all been pretty aware that qwilk has been very busy lately with his own project, xoblite, a branch of BB4Win 0.0.7.0. Now he has finished up the first public release. It contains an intergrated slit and systembar plus many other things to numerous to list so head on over to the xoblite home and check it out. [ed. Links added by Tres`ni]

Just tried feather linux on a USB stick . It comes with fluxbox. Pretty neat.

unfortunatly bb, fb, and ob on linux aren't the same as bb4win, i'm missing bbi. so, for linux it's gnome or xfce

yep, SP3 does suck major balls. and i don't have a dual core yet. i'll get one soon, tho. but then i'll be running openSuSE..

XP doesn't support dual core tho, so vista is speedier in that respect. SP3 might tho, but it sucks balls.
